PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS)
Motor and Pump Repair Nevada Army Aviation Support Facility
Part 1
General Information
1.1 GENERAL: This is a non-personal services contract to provide repairs to the
Fuel Farm at the Nevada Army Aviation Support facility. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government.
1.2 Description of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the repairs to the F24 Fuel Farm Pump, Motor and Meter, as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall meet the standards in this contract.
1.3 Background:
AASF Fuel farm requires a replacement of the pump motor, rebuild of the pump and repair to the meter to reliably pull fuel from the underground tanks into the refueling vehicles. Previous damage to the fuel farm’s Scully switch and bypass of the safeguards on it placed undue stress on the motor, pump and meter, which are beginning to fail. If the motor or pump seizes, the fuel farm will be unable to deliver fuel from the tanks into the HEMTT refueler vehicles. They also have the potential to overheat and set the fuel farm on fire.
1.4 Objectives:
A. Replace the fuel farm Motor.
B. Rebuild the Pump.
C. Repair the fuel meter
1.5 Scope: Services include:
A.
• Mobilize equipment and personnel to the project site.
• Provide labor, equipment, and tools to service F-24 Motor, Pump and Meter.

1.9 Quality Assurance: The government shall evaluate the contractor’s performance under this contract in accordance with the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan. Such procedures shall include turn-in of any issued keys by personnel who no longer require access to locked areas.
