3. Att 2 ESS Hardware Inventory.xlsx

This file is a hardware inventory spreadsheet documenting the Enterprise Software Services (ESS) hardware assets currently deployed across multiple environments and locations. The inventory comprises 698 total hardware line items with 1,779 physical units distributed across 17 unique rooms and locations, with assets categorized into two primary inventory systems: METIC (510 line items, 1,779 units) and DDC (188 line items). The METIC inventory spans 121 unique manufacturers and 72 hardware sub-types, with top manufacturers including Dell (46 line items), Hewlett Packard (42), Zebra (42), Cisco (32), and Samsung (30). The most prevalent hardware sub-types in METIC are monitors (44 line items), barcode scanners (41), laptops (38), hard drives (30), and switches (29). Equipment is distributed across multiple environments including labs, storage facilities, IT rooms, cubicles, offices, and off-site locations.

The DDC inventory contains 188 line items across 11 manufacturers and 11 hardware sub-types, split between commercial (COM) environment with 95 items and military (MIL) environment with 91 items. DDC hardware is primarily concentrated in data center infrastructure, including servers (81 line items), switches (58), and storage systems (27) from manufacturers such as Hewlett Packard (70 line items), Cisco (59), and NetApp (39). DDC assets are organized by specific rack locations and U-positions within designated server rooms (101-210 ranges), with equipment distributed across Racks 101-113 for MIL environments and Racks 201-210 for COM environments. This inventory document serves as a comprehensive baseline of current ESS hardware resources available for support and maintenance planning purposes.
