About this file

This is a Scope of Work document prepared by the Utah National Guard Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO) for a garage door installation project at the Richfield facility. The project requires the removal, replacement, and modernization of three industrial rolling steel doors (14 feet by 14 feet each) and the installation of two heavy-duty commercial door operators. The contractor must supply and install Clopay CESD20 rolling steel doors in industrial gray with full insulation and flat slat profiles, along with LiftMaster Maxum JHDC7S1BMC operators featuring high-efficiency DC motors, 8-9 inch per second opening speeds, integrated battery backup capabilities, and three monitored safety entrapment protection inputs per door. All work must comply with local and state building codes, the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA safety standards, and manufacturer specifications. The project is a turnkey engagement requiring the contractor to handle all planning, procurement, delivery, site preparation, demolition, installation, electrical wiring, safety compliance, cleanup, and disposal.

The procurement is structured as an Invitations for Bid (IFB) issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing with the Utah National Guard as the conducting unit, anticipated to result in a single award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. Bidders must provide a flat-rate proposal that explicitly includes all labor, materials, safety equipment, transport, disposal services, scissor and forklift rentals, and all mobilization costs, mileage charges, and technician per diem without post-award surcharges. Contractor submittals must include product data sheets, a detailed work schedule accounting for normal business hours, and a minimum one-year labor and installation warranty in addition to standard manufacturer warranties. The vendor must guarantee its pricing for the entire project duration.
