About this file
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP-2000004191) Appendix B for chemical products and services related to odor control and H2S reduction at multiple feed sites, including Deadrun, Edgewater, GMU, Lorton Valley, Springhill, The Fairfax, Holmes Run, LLV, Difficult Run, and Freund. The RFP seeks vendors to provide chemical products, implementation of new equipment, and annual service components for chemical treatment at these sites. The document outlines requirements for chemical pricing, equipment implementation, and ongoing service costs, with vendors expected to provide detailed pricing for chemical products, new equipment installations, and comprehensive service packages including maintenance, field sampling, technical support, and web-based monitoring.
The pricing structure is comprehensive, covering chemical product unit costs, equipment implementation expenses, and annual service components. Vendors must provide pricing for various chemicals including calcium ammonium nitrate, sodium chlorite, and ferrous/ferric sulfates, with specific focus on odor control and H2S reduction. The RFP emphasizes that the product cost estimate includes chemical delivery but excludes service and equipment costs for chemical tanks and pumping systems. Vendors are required to submit a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for proposed products and provide estimated costs for equipment replacement, monthly field sampling, technical support, odor loggers, web-based services, and continuous H2S gas monitoring across multiple feed sites.

Total Annual Cost for Chemicals
Average for Introduction of New Sites
Assumptions:
• Product cost estimate includes chemical delivery but excludes service/equipment for chemical tank and pumping system.
• Vendor shall provide a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) sheet for the product that is included in the proposal sheet. SDS shall include, but not limited to, product weight, minimum active ingredient content as a percentage by product weight, and product safety information.
• Estimated annual chemical cost is based on the average estimated daily chemical dosage needed at each of the six feed sites. Actual usage could be higher or lower than the average estimated daily usage based on measured dissolved and gas H2S at specific monitoring points.
FOR VENDOR EQUIPMENT SCOPE OF WORK, please provide the following:
Provide an estimate for new equipment.
