About this file
This is a vendor compliance requirements document from the City and County of San Francisco outlining mandatory registration and licensing procedures for proposers responding to a request for proposal. Prospective bidders must complete a two-step registration process to become eligible to sign a City contract. Step 1 requires bidders to register through the SF City Partner portal at the designated bidder registration link. Step 2 mandates conversion to an approved supplier status by following the City's step-by-step guide for supplier approval. The City strongly recommends that proposers begin the compliance process immediately upon submission of their RFP response or no later than receipt of the notice of intent to award from the contracting department to avoid delays in contract execution.
Additionally, all proposers must register for a Business Tax License through the San Francisco Treasurer's Office as a separate compliance requirement. The registration links for both the bidder registration portal and the business tax license registration are provided in the document. These prerequisites are mandatory conditions for contract award and signature, and early initiation of the registration process is encouraged to ensure timely compliance and contract finalization.
