The project involves furnishing lockers, including six-high and double-tier Republic welded athletic lockers, with specific requirements for fabrication, finish, and accessories. The bid deadline is set for 2:00 PM (PT) on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, with district-provided installation likely occurring during the Summer of 2026. Bidders are directed to reference Appendix "A" for additional information and are advised that site visits can be scheduled with the Project Manager.

The specifications outline detailed requirements for locker construction, including 16 gauge steel frames, 14 gauge cold-rolled steel bottoms, and specific door and hinge characteristics. Powder coating is mandatory, with a minimum of five standard colors available for selection by the architect. The lockers must meet ADA compliance standards, with 5% of locker openings being accessible. The district requires a Certificate of Conformance stating that finished surfaces are lead-free. Payment terms are Net 30, with invoicing in arrears of product delivery. The project includes standard and accessible locker benches, with specific dimensions and mounting requirements. No locks will be provided, and the district will handle installation, with bidders expected to provide delivery only.

Q.2 Is a specific color required for the items listed on the Bid request?

Answer: See Section 10 51 13 Metal Lockers (PART 2 – PRODUCTS, 2.03 FINISH, Sub-

Q.3 I saw that we can submit equivalent products when a brand name is listed. Are we able to create two line items, one as the original and one as an alternate?

Q.4 I do not see payment terms. Will a bid requesting a deposit payment be acceptable?

Answer: No. Our preferred payment terms are Net 30, and invoicing in arrears of product delivery.

Q.5 In regard to the lockers bid, I see no installation needs to be included for the floor mounted benches. Do you need installation quoted for the lockers or no?
