About this file
This document is Addendum No. 2 for a Cook County Government solicitation for Disposable Supplies for the Juvenile Temporary Detention Center, with Bid No. 2535-03182. The addendum modifies the original bid documents, changing the bid due date from July 16, 2025 to August 6, 2025, and shifting the vendor inquiry response date from July 9, 2025 to July 23, 2025. The contract will be effective for three years with two optional one-year renewals. The procurement seeks disposable supplies for the detention center, with the intent to award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder who meets all specifications.
The solicitation includes Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) participation requirements, with subcontracting goals of 12.5% MBE and 7.5% WBE of the awarded contract price. Bidders must submit an MBE/WBE Utilization Plan demonstrating how they will meet these goals. The procurement will be conducted through the Bonfire online platform, with all inquiries and submissions to be made electronically. Deliveries will be made inside dock at the specified location, Monday through Friday, excluding a list of specific holidays. The contract aims to award the entire bid to a single vendor, with all items expected to meet the specified requirements.
