About this file
This document is a Non-Collusion Affidavit for Lubbock County, Texas, which is a standard legal form designed to prevent bid rigging and ensure fair competition in the bidding process. The form requires a bidder to swear under oath that their submitted bid is genuine, not collusive, and that they have not attempted to manipulate the bidding process by inducing other firms to submit sham bids or refrain from submitting qualifications.
The affidavit must be completed, signed by the bidder, and notarized before being included with the submission. It serves as a legal declaration that the bidder is acting independently and ethically, without conspiring with other potential bidders to gain an unfair advantage in the procurement process. The form provides spaces for the firm name, individual name, signature, title, and notary public details, with a clear instruction that it must be completed and submitted along with the bid documents.
