About this file

This is a scope of work document for Dixon Correctional Center in Illinois requiring full 12-year hydrostatic testing and maintenance services on three Ansul fire suppression kitchen hood systems. The project encompasses three separate systems: a 15-gallon Ansul system serving the North Production Hood, a 6-gallon Ansul system serving the Culinary Hood, and a 3-gallon Ansul system serving the South Production Hood. All three systems are overdue for their required 12-year hydrostatic testing, with the last testing completed in 2014. The scope of work includes removal and hydrostatic testing of all system tanks with subsequent reinstallation, replacement of required cartridges, O-rings, and burst discs, replacement of eighteen aluminum link holders with stainless steel UL-listed components, replacement of four clogged duct nozzles, reconfiguration of griddle nozzle drops for proper appliance coverage, installation of bursting disc union assemblies on manifolded tank sets for the largest system, and complete system reassembly, testing, and commissioning.

Upon completion, all three systems must be returned to full operational service and verified to meet manufacturer specifications, UL 300 requirements, and applicable NFPA standards. No specific pricing terms, set-aside provisions, incumbent contractor information, response dates, or contract award timelines are detailed in this scope of work document.
