About this file

This is a Non-Collusion Affidavit form required by the City of Palm Bay, Florida for the Canal Clearing project (26-ITB-26). The affidavit must be completed and notarized by the prime bidder or authorized representative and submitted with the sealed bid. The document certifies that the bidder has prepared the bid independently, that the bid is genuine and not collusive, and that neither the bidder nor its officers, partners, owners, agents, representatives, or employees have engaged in any collusion, conspiracy, or unlawful agreement with other bidders to fix prices, overhead, profit elements, or secure any unfair advantage against the City of Palm Bay. The affidavit requires the affiant to confirm that the quoted prices are fair, proper, and untainted by any collusion or unlawful agreement. Questions regarding the bid solicitation are due by March 10, 2026 at 5:00 PM, with bids due electronically through the City of Palm Bay's Bonfire platform on March 31, 2026.

The affidavit must be notarized in Brevard County, Florida, and the notary public must complete all required fields including the date, method of identification verification, and confirmation of oath administration. The document serves as a mandatory compliance requirement for all bidders participating in the canal clearing solicitation and is part of the City's standard procurement procedures to prevent anti-competitive bidding practices and ensure fair competition among contractors.
