About this file
This is an Addendum 4 to an Invitation to Bid issued by a state or local utility jurisdiction for Pad Mount Transformers (Bid Reference #26-018). The addendum clarifies specifications and requirements through a question-and-answer format, addressing nine specific technical questions submitted by potential bidders. The bid opening is scheduled for October 27, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms at submission. The addendum specifies that load break or sectionalizing switches, parking stands, and arresters are not required; however, temperature gauges, pressure relief valves, drain/sample valves, bayonet fuses, secondary bonds, and penta-head bolts on doors are required. Additionally, the specification clarifies that 1-inch studs only are required for secondary pads, rather than 4-hole NEMA secondary pads.
No pricing information, set-asides, incumbent vendor details, funding sources, or other financial terms are included in this addendum. The document serves solely to clarify technical specifications and requirements for the pad mount transformer procurement based on bidder inquiries. Bidders who have already submitted bids prior to the release of this addendum may email their acknowledgment form directly to the buyer, Takeshia Martin, to ensure bid acceptability.
