About this file
This is Addendum #1 issued by the Macon-Bibb County Government Procurement Department on behalf of Middle Georgia Regional Airport (MCN) to modify Invitation for Bids 26-001-LH for the installation of a common use passenger processing system. The project requires a fully integrated solution comprising 4 workstations behind the ticketing counter, 2 workstations in the secure area, 2 self-service kiosks, 5 gate display monitors, boarding pass readers, thermal printers, and 2 Flight Information Display System (FIDS) screens measuring 42 inches each. The system must integrate with three airlines currently operating at MCN: Contour, Sun Country, and Spirit Airlines. The airport requires 2 workstations, 2 kiosks, boarding pass readers, and thermal printers to be functional by mid-September, with full system functionality required by October 16, 2025. Site visits may be scheduled at Middle Georgia Regional Airport through August 5, 2025, by contacting Justin Roland at (478) 703-2815. Proposals must include 1 original and 3 copies plus 1 flash drive. The airport is open to phased deployment with the remainder of equipment delivered after the initial deadline.
The bid bond requirement is a minimum of five percent of the total bid proposal. MCN will provide network infrastructure including cabling and ISP services based on project needs. The estimated construction budget will be determined based on proposals received. The term of the support agreement is flexible and will be determined by what is offered in bidders' proposals rather than a fixed 3 or 5-year term. The project involves 29,913 boarding gate movements recorded in 2024, and both FIDS hardware and software solutions are required.
