About this file
This is Addendum #3 for ROW Vegetation Management Bid Reference #25-038 issued by the City of Albany, Georgia, with a bid opening date of January 23, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. The addendum clarifies that the ROW (right-of-way) work extends from the center line to 40 degrees out in both directions, with the City handling spray and mow operations. The scope involves tree trimming only, with no removals or stump grinding, and vendors must follow basic DOT setup standards in work areas, particularly using cones and barriers in residential areas.
The addendum provides operational details including that vendors may use their own chipper/grappler equipment, must handle debris disposal with reimbursement via dump tickets submitted to the City, and must contact the Project Manager immediately for any private property complaints. The City will provide any required chemicals, and no change orders will be permitted for this project. The Project Manager will be available on call and will conduct daily site checks. The document includes the City of Albany logo and requires bidders to acknowledge receipt of the addendum on their bid form.
