About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for Solicitation #24WS0035 from California state government regarding pharmacist staffing services. The position requires pharmacist staffing during normal business hours of 8:30am to 5pm Monday through Friday, with typically one pharmacist needed per shift/day, though multiple pharmacists may be utilized over the course of the contract. Only one contract will be awarded from this solicitation.

This solicitation is exclusively set aside for certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) and non-DVBE vendors cannot submit bids. There are currently no incumbent vendors providing these services. The contract specifies that overtime pay will not be provided for work beyond 8 hours per day, and the California Industrial Welfare Commission's Wage Order No. 4-2001 will not be followed. Additionally, there are no small business subcontracting incentives available, as the solicitation requires the prime contractor to be a certified DVBE.
