About this file
This document is a question-and-answer update regarding a solicitation for digitization services issued by the Southeastern Power Administration (SEPA), a civilian agency within the Department of Energy. The solicitation seeks to digitize approximately 500,000 pages of physical records, including some visual media such as slides and negatives, in compliance with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) requirements. The document provides details on the condition and storage of the documents, as well as clarification on topics such as document sizes, security clearances, and past performance requirements. The solicitation does not include a deadline extension, and the agency indicates it has provided sufficient time for vendors to submit proposals based on the feedback and interest received. The document also references a "digital twin" requirement, which vendors are asked to research prior to submitting a proposal.
