About this file
This is Addendum #2 to an Invitation for Bid (IFB #24C314004) issued by the California Highway Patrol for ceiling mounted heater replacement services at the Golden Gate Air Operations Unit. The addendum makes two key changes: it replaces Exhibit A, page 2 of 3 in its entirety, and extends the bid due date from February 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM to February 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening moved to February 19, 2025 at 11:15 AM. The scope of work involves removing and replacing five existing ceiling mounted gas hangar heating units that are no longer effectively heating the space. The contractor must install new commercial grade gas heating units and thermostats, provide staff training, obtain necessary permits, and warranty the work for one year.
The contractor is required to seek any available public utility rebates and pass cost savings on to the California Highway Patrol. The scope includes removal and disposal of existing units according to regulations, installation of new units with all necessary parts and fittings, providing operation manuals, and daily cleanup of the jobsite. The contractor must also provide manufacturer's warranty on all installed equipment. The file does not specify pricing terms, set-asides, or funding sources.
