Vendor request for information:
Question: Does the hospital have resources to provide any type of assistance or guidance with the access system software programing?
Answer: The vendor shall sub out to someone who is experienced and certified to work on RS2 PSCS systems. Condortech is the original installer out of Alexandria, Virginia. Kavia (Banning merged with Kavia) has been performing this and are local but they sub out the programming part as well to another company. Whoever they intend to use to add the card readers to the PACS system should take care of the programming by subbing it out or doing it themselves. The system overall is a closed network but the management software is on the network.
Question: One late question just came across re: the fire alarm system integration – if it’s not too late could we get the manufacture information for the fire system?
Answer: Honeywell Notifier NFS2-640/E
Information from Engineering: (photo in attachments) For the ER corridor door, camera, and access controls system project, I’m sending you the existing camera hardware info to provide to the solicitors just for reference. The local networked stand-alone camera system that is to be installed for the ER north nurses’ station staff should be a similar setup but with the SOW’s requirements.
Existing South ER nurses’ station stand-alone camera setup.
