About this file

Addendum No. 2 for the Disaster Recovery Consulting Request for Proposal (RFP) 24250003P-AZ is issued by the School Board of Seminole County, Florida, seeking as-needed disaster recovery consulting services. The solicitation is scheduled to open on May 24, 2024, at 1:00 PM EST, with proposals due by that date and time. The contract will cover new work resulting from potential disasters, and the current vendor is Disaster Program and Operations, Inc. The school district is participating in the Florida Disaster Emergency Management Office's Florida - Recovery Obligation Calculation (F-ROC) program.

The addendum provides clarifications on various aspects of the proposal, including confidentiality requirements, reference submissions, and documentation expectations. The district will accept a bonding capacity letter in lieu of a surety bond and requires hourly rates for potential consulting positions. Proposers are asked to provide narratives about their current business status and future projections. The fee schedule will be evaluated as part of the complete proposal, with rate escalations allowed for negotiation. Notably, financial statements are not required to be submitted, and the contract is structured as an as-needed service arrangement with no predetermined budget.
