About this file
This document is Addendum No. 3 for the DTMB (Department of Technology, Management and Budget) Mackinac Island Visitor Center Renovations project located at 7200 Lake Shore Drive, Mackinac Island, Michigan. The addendum provides several key updates for bidders, including acceptance of the VERDEdri #Q-973A2 brushed stainless steel hand dryer for toilet accessories, clarification on staging locations as referenced in a previous addendum, and permission for the contractor to use a small barge at the state dock behind the Visitor Center for additional staging with the requirement that containers remain on the barge.
The addendum also includes two additional clarifications: first, the state will remove and dispose of off-island items associated with Alternate 2, and second, a specification for the Family Bath 101B area, which is partially over a crawl space. For this area, the contractor is instructed to use core drilling instead of the originally shown trench and must field verify the extent of the crawl space prior to demolition. The document is dated March 12, 2025, and is issued by MCSA Group, Inc., an architecture and landscape architecture firm located in East Grand Rapids, Michigan.
