About this file

The document is a Preventative Maintenance Checklist from Collier County Parks & Recreation, specifically designed for documenting maintenance activities for pumps and instrumentation at aquatic facilities. The checklist requires contractors to perform comprehensive inspections including visual checks of pumps and motors for leaks, verification of seals and gaskets, recording supply voltage and amperage, lubricating motors, checking oil levels, exercising influent and effluent valves, and conducting calibration of various instrumentation like level gauges, pressure switches, scales, flow meters, and chemical meters. The form mandates that contractors submit the completed checklist with photographs of any deficiencies for each location, along with recommended repair actions, and must maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards and manufacturer recommendations.

The maintenance checklist is part of a broader three-year contract with two potential one-year renewal options, issued by Collier County's Procurement Services Division for preventative maintenance and repairs of pumps and related equipment. The document emphasizes the contractor's responsibility to document work performed, identify potential issues, and provide cost estimates for recommended repairs. Each inspection requires the contractor's representative to attest to the accuracy of the provided information, with space allocated for facility name, date of inspection, pump number, specific inspection comments, and a section for repair recommendations. The checklists are intended to be submitted with invoicing and serve as a comprehensive record of maintenance activities and equipment condition.
