About this file
This document is a Bidder's Questions Response letter from Ayres Associates to Mr. Ryan Dennison, Parks & Recreation Director for the City of Craig, Colorado, dated March 22, 2024, regarding the Alice Pleasant Park renovation project. The document contains 10 detailed questions and answers from a pre-bid meeting held on March 7, 2024, addressing technical specifications, material requirements, warranty periods, and project logistics for the park improvement project.
Key details include a 1-year warranty requirement for all site construction improvements, including manufacturer warranties for shelters, restrooms, and site furnishings. The project involves specific technical specifications such as using CDOT Class B 4500psi concrete mix, including a seal coat for the asphalt parking lot, and using crushed 3/8" minus gray granite for crusher fines. The City will handle concrete cylinder testing through a third-party testing company, and contractors must obtain a street cut permit with minimal traffic control for sanitary line connections. A Geotechnical report was distributed via email on 03/11/24, and specific site furnishings like the Infinity Curved Bench require precise model specifications.
