Engineering measures : THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS FOR EXPOSURE

CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION ARE INTENDED

FOR THE MANUFACTURE, FORMULATION AND

PACKAGING OF THE PRODUCT. FOR COMMERCIAL

APPLICATIONS AND/OR ON-FARM APPLICATIONS

CONSULT THE PRODUCT LABEL.

Containment and/or segregation is the most reliable technical protection measure if exposure cannot be eliminated.

The extent of these protection measures depends on the actual risks in use.

Maintain air concentrations below occupational exposure standards.

Where necessary, seek additional occupational hygiene advice.

Personal protective equipment

Respiratory protection

: No personal respiratory protective equipment normally required.

When workers are facing concentrations above the exposure limit they must use appropriate certified respirators.

Hand protection

Remarks

: No special protective equipment required.

Eye protection

Skin and body protection

Select skin and body protection based on the physical job requirements.

Protective measures

: The use of technical measures should always have priority over the use of personal protective equipment.

When selecting personal protective equipment, seek appropriate professional advice.

4. First-Aid Measures

After Skin Contact : Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15 to 20 minutes. If irritation occurs seek medical advice. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

After Eye Contact : Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes then continue rinsing the eye. Rinse longer if there is any indication of residual chemical in the eye. Ensure adequate flushing of the eyes by separating the eyelids with fingers and roll eyes in a circular motion. If irritation occurs or concerned call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

After Inhalation : If adverse effects are felt, move person to fresh air. If breathing is difficult give oxygen. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If symptoms persist get medical attention. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

After Swallowing : Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Have the product container, label, or SDS with you when calling a Poison Control Center, doctor, or going for treatment. You can reach a local Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222, for emergency medical treatment information.
