About this file

This document is Addendum 1 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) 24-0022 issued by Beaverton School District's Business Services Procurement and Contracting department in Oregon. The project involves creating a new conference room and replacing an existing folding partition with a solid wall at Highland Park Middle School. Bids are due on March 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM Pacific Time. The addendum provides clarifications on drawing modifications, specifically addressing low voltage cable removals and replacements, and includes responses to contractor questions about door and window reuse, painting requirements, and room preparation.

Key project details include the contractor's responsibility for contract abatement in both spaces, with the school district confirming that furniture and equipment will be removed prior to construction start. The addendum specifies that salvaged doors and windows may be reused if they are in new-like condition, and painting will be comprehensive, covering ceilings, walls, and door/window frames to create a new finished condition. Attached to the addendum are supplementary documents including an overall floor plan, enlarged electrical plans, and electrical details to support bidders in preparing their proposals.
