About this file

This is Addendum #2 to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the City of Johns Creek, Georgia's Purchasing Division for architectural engineering design services for Fire Station #63 and a Police Substation. The project requires qualified firms to submit sealed proposals by 2:00 PM ET on Monday, July 24, 2023, with electronic submissions through BidNet and hard copies delivered to City Hall. The scope includes design services for a combined fire and police facility with individual bunk rooms for eight firefighters, restrooms, fire equipment storage areas, low-voltage systems design, and coordination with City Facilities and IT Departments on specifications. The addendum addresses 11 questions posed by prospective offerors during the question and answer period, which closed on July 17, 2023 at 5:00 PM. Key clarifications include that a survey will be provided separately by the City, no targeted square footage has been established (to be determined during the programming phase), LED lighting is desired with openness to sustainability features such as rainwater cisterns, security system design is excluded from scope, and detailed bunk room, restroom, and storage specifications will be finalized during programming with the selected firm.

Offerors must submit required forms, certifications, technical proposals, and cost proposals as separate scanned PDFs within designated BidNet envelopes and acknowledge receipt of the addendum with firm name, signature, and date. Proposals must include a work plan listing major design subconsultants and their responsibilities, professional licenses for Georgia-licensed professionals, compliance with e-verify and drug-free workplace requirements, and a proposed schedule. The City of Johns Creek reserves the right to reject any or all bids and award based on best interest to the City. No pricing information, contract term, or renewal options are specified in this addendum document.
