About this file

This document describes a state and local contract opportunity for the removal and replacement of the existing dock at the CBJTC Brown House in Starke, Florida. The project, valued at an estimated $105,000, involves completely replacing the existing dock structure, including the covered pavilion, stairs, ladders, and all pilings, with new marine-grade materials. The project will be overseen by the State of Florida's Department of Military Affairs, and the contractor will be required to obtain all necessary building permits from the local authorities, with the exception of the State Fire Marshal permit which will be obtained by the Owner. Contractors must submit qualification data with their bids, and the project is subject to federal debarment and suspension regulations.

The bid solicitation outlines detailed technical specifications for the dock replacement, including requirements for the dock materials, dimensions, and construction methods. The contractor will be responsible for cleaning up all debris from the site upon completion. The project timeline is not explicitly stated, but the bid solicitation was issued on January 4, 2024, with proposals requested from qualified contractors. No additional questions or addenda were issued, and a pre-bid agenda and sign-in sheet from a meeting held on January 23, 2024, are attached.
