About this file

This document is an addendum for a state and local contract opportunity issued by the Florida Army National Guard Construction & Facility Management Office for the CBJTC Counterdrug HQ New Building project. The base bid includes construction of a 6,746 SF single-story commercial office building utilizing a pre-engineered metal building system. The project also includes 14 additive bid items for items such as flooring, millwork, HVAC, doors, kitchen equipment, tile, generator wiring, canopies, site work, and others. The bid opening is scheduled for June 8, 2023 at 2:00 PM. The addendum provides clarifications to questions raised during the pre-bid meeting, revises the mechanical drawings, and adds a new additive bid item for an Emergency Responder Radio Communications System.

The estimated construction cost for the project is between $1,750,000 and $2,300,000. The contract award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder that submits the lowest price for the base bid or base bid plus alternate bid items. A 5% bid bond is required for bids exceeding $100,000. The contractor will be required to obtain all necessary permits and provide performance and payment bonds. Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates do not apply to this project.
