Questions submitted by Adler Display
1. Multiple Murals-- Do you consider the design you are reviewed to have enough murals to be considered "Multiple" Answer: Please see the attached statement of work for guidance.
1. Section (3) page (4) under deliverables notes "Compliance documentation with relevant standards and regulations". Are you referring to having a place in our displays for the Army to post this information?
Answer: No, the software used to program the displays needs to be in compliance with Network guidance.
1. Section (3) page (4) under deliverables lists "Maintenance Plan for all installed components" In addition to cleaning and maintenance directions, AV Equipment comes with a manufacturers warranty, but the equipment distributor offers extended warranties for the audio visual equipment. This can sometimes be expensive, would we be precluded from being awarded the contract if this is listed as an option that is available at an additional cost?
Answer: Yes, please don’t provide options available at an additional cost.
1. Part 6 on page 5 references "Regular Inspection and maintenance Checks to ensure optimal performance of installed components" Typically this type of installation does not require regular maintenance beyond occasional cleaning which can be done with a cloth and mild soap or cleansers which we will note in our proposal. Our standard warranty is 1 year for fabricated graphic and display components and if a problem is reported, we will certainly come on site to address it, but is there a preferred or required period of time you would like us to include. Is a quarterly visit for the first year what you are looking for?
Answer: The Government will accept the standard 1 year warranty.
1. Contract Requirements for Foyer Upgrade (#7) page 6 requests a Rock Wall. Is there a preferred location and size for this.
Answer: It is not important it can be moved. We want a panel instead.
1. We would like more direction for the style or type of rock and lighting you are looking for as the cost can vary dramatically. Attached are a few photos of rock walls and lighting Rock A is actually created from faux that is incredibly realistic material and and another is real material. Do either of these reflect what you have in mind for both the "Rock" style and the lighting.
Answer: The rock wall is no longer wanted. A panel will suffice.

1. Box 17 A- What should be entered in the code & facility code boxes in the upper right corner Answer: Correct the Offeror would specify its cage code, name, address, telephone number of the offeror.
1. Can we include options that are extras or alternates that are not included in our base proposal and clearly identify these in our concept drawings . What is the best way to show this on our quote so we are not inadvertently not awarded the contract because (2) options are included but the client is required to select one. or an option is available, but not required.
Answer: Please don’t provide options. Please see FAR 52.212-2 on page 13 for additional guidance on the award process.
1. Timeline--- Is procurement / material acquisition the date the contract is award so we may not have a contract until June 7th? the Is the due date firm? We are concerned that more time may be required to execute this project to best meet the end users needs. Specifically, lead times for some of the materials like stone could be several weeks and production could be delayed in selecting the exact photos and text and by the end user making multiple revisions when we submit updated designs.
Answer: Proposals are due on 10 May 2024. The Government has provided the timeline of events and provided the salient characteristics. It is up to the Offeror to propose their solution. If you anticipate material delays, please provide the milestone dates in your proposal.
1. Page 9 item (2c) Is this what you are referring to as our unique identifier-- "EVDVCDUNH5L5" I located this on SAM. Also, line of industry can we describe this "Design fabricator of exhibits display, signage and graphics" or are you looking for our NAIC codes.
Answer: Yes that is your UEI code. This FAR 52.204-7 clause requires Offerors to be registered in SAM in order to do business with the Federal Government.
1. Am I correct that the charts on page 19 item 2 & page 20 item 4 chart is not required to be completed for this contract?
Answer: Yes, the Offeror is not required to fill out the charts on page 19 and 20.
1. Could you please clarify what the government going to provide for modernization ( e.g interactive screens, murals despite screens etc)
Answer: The contractor would propose the interactive screens, murals, etc. During the site visit, please ask all your questions and take measurements so you can provide an accurate quote.
