About this file

The document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) Excel spreadsheet for Request for Quote (RFQ) 20342326Q00002 for Denture Laboratory Services, issued by the Department of the Treasury Bureau of the Fiscal Service on behalf of the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington, D.C. The solicitation is a 100% Small Business set-aside under NAICS 339116, seeking a dental laboratory to provide various dental prosthetic services including full and partial dentures, crowns, and related dental fabrication work.

Key details include a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order for one 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods, using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation method. The Q&A document clarifies specific product requirements, addressing questions about materials, crown types, and fabrication specifications. Response deadline was extended to September 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST, with proposals to be submitted electronically. The government is open to digital workflows and new technologies, but has specific constraints on certain dental materials and restoration types, with an emphasis on pricing and straightforward service delivery.

RFQ 20342326Q00002 Denture Laboratory Services Q and A
QuestionAnswer
1The solicitation is titled Denture Laboratory Services but looking through the Pricing sheet there are

multiple lines that indicate crown and bridge specialties, are these the actual services that are needed or

is this a boilerplate list? and if so, how would these receive a price quote? We need a full service Dental Laboratory 1. Fixed (crowns made of Porcelain full, Porcelain infused metal ie. Precious metal / non-precious metal / semi precious and complete cast) 2. removable Dentures and paritals.
2The list requires Ticonium frameworks. The solicitation also says the frame must be beryllium and

nickel free. The two issues are ticonium has beryllium and ticonium is no longer made. What metal would
