Question Answer
The solicitation is titled Denture Laboratory Services but looking through the Pricing sheet there are multiple lines that indicate crown and bridge specialties, are these the actual services that are needed or is this a boilerplate list? and if so, how would these receive a price quote?
We need a full service Dental Laboratory 1. Fixed (crowns made of Porcelain full, Porcelain infused metal ie. Precious metal / non-precious metal / semi precious and complete cast) 2. removable Dentures and paritals.
The list requires Ticonium frameworks. The solicitation also says the frame must be beryllium and nickel free. The two issues are ticonium has beryllium and ticonium is no longer made. What metal would be required? use Cobalt-Chromiun
The price list also requires targis /vectris from Ivoclar and this material is no longer made. Is this something that is required? Or something that is asked for from past solicitations? no targis / no vectris
Are captek crowns also still needed, as most crowns are now zirconia?
but if this is only for denture/removable cases then this would be irrelevant.
no captek crowns, only full cast complete crowns either yellow gold or white gold.
If I read the evaluation process correctly, Price is the determining factor above all else. The evaluation process will evaluate lowest price and if is "acceptable" then other proposals will not be evaluated. Is this correct? That is correct.
We are to price an abutment, but there are not items for implant crowns to go with those abutments. They are not the same as a standard crown over a natural tooth. Please provide implant crown items, if necessary no abutment pricing required
I do not see separate pricing for a pontic as a pontic requires more alloy? If required, can you please provide line items for the crowns with alloy. we do not work with this no pricing required
In an effort to provide the lowest price, would you consider 2nd Day shipping instead of the premium shipping of Net Day Air? yes
9 What is the difference between item 1 and 3?
0001 full denture is either mandibular or maxillary 0003 Is the complete denture both mandibular & maxillary complete set.
Please provide more information on what this item is to provide in order to price it correctly: Item 16: Immediate Denture Preparation price for immediate denture
