About this file

This document contains a set of Q&A responses from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) related to a potential procurement. The responses cover technical and procurement details, including BEP's current Milestone XProtect platform (Corporate 2022 R2, SmartWall, Access, and Incident Manager), with plans to upgrade to the 2024 or 2025 version. The minimum order quantity is $1,000, and the anticipated award date is November 2025. Pricing adjustments are subject to review and approval on a case-by-case basis, with no automatic authorization for ceiling increases.

The Q&A also addresses technical specifics such as the existence of a Software License Code (SLC) and details about high-power POE injectors. BEP will provide a federal tax-exempt certificate as an attachment to the solicitation. The responses indicate a structured approach to procurement, with careful consideration of pricing, technical requirements, and vendor interactions, emphasizing that any proposed changes or adjustments will be evaluated against federal acquisition regulations and BEP's internal policies.
