Question or Comment Number Question/Comment USCG Response

Please provide additional information regarding the units. Do they have a uniform layout?

The layouts for the 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom, and 4-bedroom units are included with the Statement of Work.

Please clairify that each unit needs to be completed in 5 days unless otherwise stated and agreed upon

The requirement is to complete each unit within 5 days of receipt of the BPA Call Order to enable timely turnover of the housing unit(s) to incoming Coast Guard members. The govt may consider a different schedule on a case by case basis, however, it is highly desired the 5 day completion schedule be the standard.

I would like to confirm whether this timeline requires installation to begin within five days of receiving the call order or simply requires us to submit a work plan and quote within five days, with installation to be scheduled accordingly

Upon receipt of a BPA Call Order the contractor shall complete the task within 5 days. Air Station Sitka would begin early communication with the successful offeror, over the 4-year period of the BPA, to discuss the number of units that will need to have their carpet replaced and the anticipated time frame. This should enable the successful vendor to have sufficient time to order any product necessary to complete the task(s) If there is an issue with product being on backorder and/or available, or other scheduling conflicts, the contractor may negotiate with Air Station to delay the start of the effort.
