About this file

This is a Price Schedule form (Exhibit D) for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Region 2 Mechanical Site Preparation project, Solicitation No. 2027-426. The project encompasses mechanical site preparation work across approximately 465.9 acres in Cook and Lake Counties within the Two Harbors DNR Forestry Area. Six separate bid groups are offered for independent award: Bid Group A (Cut and Pile) covering 13.89 acres; Bid Group B (Winter Cut and Pile) covering 51.22 acres; Bid Group C (Winter Shear with KG Blade) covering 56 acres; Bid Group D (Winter Rock Rake) covering 156.5 acres across two tracts; Bid Group E (Mastication) covering 20.9 acres across two tracts; and Bid Group F (Winter Rock Rake) covering 69.5 acres. Treatment dates range from December 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with winter operations concluding by March 15, 2027. Contractors must submit unit prices for each item within any bid group they choose to bid on, with responses submitted electronically through the Swift Portal in Microsoft Excel format (.xlsx, .xls) or .pdf.

Bidders are required to provide unit prices that include all costs such as labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, and applicable taxes necessary for project completion. The Price Schedule currently shows zero values for all unit prices and amount bids across all bid groups, indicating this is a blank template for contractor completion. The State reserves the right to award items separately, by grouping, or by total as deemed most advantageous and will make awards to the lowest responsible vendor meeting all specifications and terms. DNR will be the determining factor in evaluating vendor compliance with specifications. All responses that fail to include unit prices for each item within a bid group or that do not comply with solicitation requirements will be rejected as nonresponsive. No set-asides are identified in this pricing document.
