About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract FA283526Q0004, pertaining to Motor Fuel Maintenance services. The document provides clarifications on contract requirements and operational procedures for fuel dispenser maintenance work.

The fuel dispensers subject to maintenance are Gasboy Atlas 8700 Series units, which are metered devices. Contractors must follow Appendix A in the Performance Work Statement for maintenance and inspection requirements. The fuel filter change interval is established at every 6 months, though the Government does not currently have specific filter specifications available. No active non-compliance issues have been identified for the dispensers. Contractors should contact the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for instruction if repairs are needed and should be mindful of operational impact when dispensers require maintenance or emergency repairs, though no formal time limits have been established. Regarding facility access, contractors must comply with initial vehicle search requirements at gates, and any tools permitted through the security screening are authorized for work performance. All required proposal documentation must be submitted via email to kamryn.anderson@us.af.mil and amanda.thoman@us.af.mil. The Government could not provide definitive answers regarding power availability during inspections at the time of this Q&A release.
