Summary: 2026 Michigan Small Game Hunting Regulations Distribution

This is a mailing list document prepared by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for the distribution of the 2026 Small Game Hunting Regulations. The document specifies the distribution of 64,160 printed regulation books organized into 3,208 bundles of 20 books each across multiple retail and government locations throughout Michigan. The distribution network includes major retailers such as Cabela's, Bass Pro Shops, Walmart, Meijer, and Dunhams sporting goods stores, as well as numerous independent hardware stores, convenience stores, bait and tackle shops, and DNR field offices and customer service centers. The list identifies specific distribution quantities for each location, ranging from single bundles at major retail headquarters to individual copies at remote field offices and smaller local retailers.

The mailing list serves as a comprehensive distribution mechanism for regulatory materials, with quantities allocated based on location type and anticipated hunter traffic. Government distribution points include 20 copies to the Wildlife Division headquarters in Lansing, 60 copies to DNR Licensing, and varying quantities (2 to 5 copies each) to approximately 40 DNR field offices and customer service centers across the state. The document does not contain pricing information, contractual terms, or funding details, functioning instead as an operational logistics document for the dissemination of hunting regulation materials to ensure statewide availability during the 2026 hunting season.
