About this file

This is Addendum 1 to Request for Proposal No. 2026-15 issued by the Town of Farragut, Tennessee for professional website redesign services for VisitFarragut.org. The Town seeks a comprehensive website redesign that includes website development, ongoing hosting and support, creative development, content support with editing capabilities, search engine optimization, ADA accessibility compliance, quarterly search engine marketing campaigns, and dedicated content management pages for blogs, events, dining, shopping, and attractions. Training will be provided to two staff members—the Tourism Manager and Tourism Program Coordinator—through a blended approach including virtual sessions, recorded modules, and written documentation. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 16, 2025 at 2:30 PM via Microsoft Teams. The proposal submission deadline is September 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM. The Town intends to award the contract to a single vendor and will discuss specific project goals, current website challenges, reference design styles, existing content migration requirements, and detailed timelines with the awarded vendor after selection.

The addendum eliminates the bid bond requirement for this project. Key performance indicators for project success will focus on increased website sessions and fulfillment of requested website enhancements. The Town will provide brand guidelines including existing color palettes and typography to ensure consistency, though flexibility on typography and layouts is available. Existing Google Analytics and Search Console accounts will be integrated into the redesigned site. The Town is open to suggestions regarding hosting providers, security standards, and content governance models. All communications regarding the RFP must be directed exclusively to Anissa Pratte, Staff Accountant at apratte@townoffarragut.org; contact with other Town personnel is prohibited and may result in bid disqualification. Verbal information provided at pre-bid meetings is non-binding; only written addenda constitute binding modifications to the original solicitation.
