About this file
This is an equipment schedule document for the M.C. Blanchard Judicial Building Boiler Replacement Project in Pensacola, Florida, prepared by Dell Consulting for Escambia County. The project involves the procurement of an advanced equipment package consisting of boiler and pump systems to replace non-operational equipment at 190 West Government Street, Pensacola, FL 32502. The equipment package includes three AERCO Benchmark natural gas boilers (B-1, B-2, B-3), each rated at 2,500 MBH input with 87 percent thermal efficiency and 2,175 MBH gross output, and five pumps: three TACO KS3007 primary hot water loop vertical inline pumps (PHP-1, PHP-2, PHP-3) rated at 218 GPM and 45 feet of head, and two TACO FI4011 secondary hot water loop base-mounted end-suction pumps (SHP-1, SHP-2) rated at 654 GPM and 90 feet of head. Equipment delivery is directed to Escambia County Facilities Management at 100 E. Blount Street, Pensacola, FL 32501, with installation scheduled for completion prior to November 15, 2026.
The boiler and pump specifications include detailed performance requirements and design standards. All boilers must include motorized isolation valves, BACnet IP gateways for building automation system integration, condensate neutralization kits, and integral disconnect switches. Primary hot water loop pumps require NEMA premium efficiency motors, internal or factory-mounted grounding rings equivalent to AEGIS specification, split-coupled configurations to facilitate motor removal, and suction diffusers with integral strainers. Secondary hot water loop pumps require variable frequency drives (VFDs) to be furnished by the controls contractor with integral disconnect switches. All motors must operate at 480 volts, three-phase, 60 Hz, with the boiler electrical requirements at 460 volts, three-phase, 60 Hz. The design basis flow rate for boilers is 218 GPM at 160°F entering water temperature and 180°F leaving water temperature. This equipment-only procurement advances the purchase timeline to ensure delivery coordination with the installation phase of the project.
