About this file

This Addendum #1 clarifies specifications for RFQ #2026-02 Roll-Off Hauling Services issued by the City of Green Bay, Wisconsin. The request seeks weekly hauling services for 20-yard dewatering dumpsters containing sewer grit from 1820 Mills Street in Green Bay to the Brown County South Landfill in Greenleaf, Wisconsin, approximately 40 miles round trip. The City owns the dewatering dumpsters, which feature both hook-style and cable-style hooking devices and include an installed cover tarp that does not impede the dumping process. Service frequency varies seasonally, ranging from 2-3 pickups weekly during high-volume periods to pickups every 3-4 weeks during slower periods, with an estimated 50 loads annually. All pickups and returns must occur during business hours (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday) to prevent material freezing in winter months. The RFQ response deadline is January 27, 2026 at 2:00 PM Central Standard Time, with mandatory acknowledgment of this addendum required on Form C of the submittal checklist.

The dewatered material weighs approximately 13-20 tons per load. Contractors must unchain the rear door during dumping to allow the liner and load to slide out. The City will notify the contractor by email one day prior to pickup, with drivers required to return loads by 3:00 PM as the yard is locked beyond business hours. During winter operations, drivers must provide approximate arrival times to enable the City to extract the dumpster from the building before material freezes. Failure to acknowledge receipt of this addendum may result in bid rejection. All other proposal requirements remain unchanged from the original RFQ documents.

• 2-3 pick-ups weekly at times or 3-4 weeks between other pickups depending on the time of the year.
