About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Air Force Medical Command (AFMEDCOM) for a Mobile Oxygen Storage Tank (MOST) to support medical care in remote or deployed military environments. The RFI seeks information from potential manufacturers about their capabilities to provide a tank that can transport, store, and deliver gaseous medical grade oxygen for critical patient care in Expeditionary Medical Support (EMEDS) and En-Route Patient Staging System (ERPSS) facilities.
The RFI was issued on 14 Nov 2025, with key response dates including 03 Dec 2025 as the last date for questions and answers, and 15 Dec 2025 as the final response deadline. Respondents are requested to complete two forms: RFI Response Form #1 (company details) and RFI Response Form #2 (a detailed Excel spreadsheet with technical requirements). The RFI encourages responses from both large and small businesses, with potential North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes of ECX (Cylinder, Compressed Gas, and Valve) and CAN (Regulator, Pressure, Gas Cylinder). Manufacturers are invited to submit responses even if their system does not meet all requirements, with trade-off considerations welcome.
