About this file

This is a Scope of Work (SOW) issued by the State of Ohio's Adjutant General's Department for the Ohio Army National Guard's Facilities Maintenance Department at Camp James A. Garfield Joint Military Training Center (CJAGJMTC). The document solicits bids for the removal and replacement of the existing fire alarm system in Building 39430-00001, specifically a Firelite Model ES-200X comprising 12 pull stations and 35 smoke detector heads. The project is located at the CJAGJMTC Readiness Center in Newton Falls, Trumbull County, Ohio. Interested contractors must submit bids through Ohio Buys, with all bids to remain valid for 90 days from submission. Site visits can be arranged with Mr. Brett Oxley from the Facility Engineering Department, Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The bid requires contractors to provide all labor, equipment, and materials to complete the fire alarm system replacement, meeting state and federal industry standards. Contractors are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area, securing project materials, and providing all inspection documents upon completion. Any additional deficiencies discovered during fire and suppression system inspections that require extra work will need to be quoted separately and submitted for additional funding approval. The document emphasizes that contractors must thoroughly examine the specifications and job site, and any omissions or misunderstandings will not relieve them of the responsibility to complete the project successfully.
