About this file
This is Addendum #1 to RFP #2025-35 for Beaumont Park Playground Equipment, issued by the City of Green Bay in collaboration with Green Bay Public School District. The addendum clarifies vendor questions and modifies specifications for the playground equipment installation project at Beaumont Park. Vendors may conduct site visits at any time as the park is publicly accessible. The RFP due date is November 4, 2025 by 2:00 PM (CDT), and the City anticipates awarding the contract in 2025. The playground must be installed for the 2026 school year, with construction scheduled for mid-June 2026 through mid-August 2026 to avoid disruption to the school year. Vendors must acknowledge receipt of all addenda on Form A – Submittal Checklist, and failure to do so may result in bid rejection. All requirements of the original proposal documents remain unchanged except as modified in this addendum.
The playground and artificial turf budgets are separate, with the artificial turf carrying a maximum budget of $300,000; any cost savings in the turf budget cannot be reallocated to playground equipment. ADA accessibility is required; ramping is desired but not highly prioritized. Green Bay Public School District will perform excavation of the 75' x 100' area, install the concrete curb, and make connections from the storm sewer to inside the curb surrounding the playground area. Vendors must include all prep work and artificial turf base preparation (clear stone) in their pricing. Emma Browne, the Park Planner, is the primary contact, though all proposal-related questions must be directed through the Purchasing Department. This addendum will be incorporated into any resulting contractual agreement with the successful bidder.
