The form also includes rates for equipment like service trucks, bucket trucks, and excavators, as well as specific service pricing for splicing, testing, hydro excavation, horizontal directional drilling, trenching, utility field marking, and network inspection and maintenance. A material markup percentage and mobilization fees for standard and emergency restoration services are also specified, providing a comprehensive pricing structure for potential contractors.

Q2. Cost for emergency response resources (equipment, materials, and labor) standing by for emergencies (per incident). Do we need to price this as hourly or daily rates? I see you have indicated per incident, but we wouldn’t know if this would take 4 hours or 10 hours.
Just some clarity here would be helpful.

Q3. What type of report is required in the event of a utility strike of the Town of Farragut’s infrastructure by a contractor?
A3. TN811 guidance should be following with regard to reporting. Section 2.2 (P) of RFP#2025-13 also gives guidance.
Q4. I do not see a line item for Traffic Control, do we need to blend this cost in with our other rates?
A4. Please see attached updated Proposal Cost Form.
Q5. In the event we encounter an unlocatable line while locating, what is the process to get this resolved?
A5. The proposer would document with photo evidence, run tracer wire, utilizing the labor rate on the proposal cost form
