Edi Delgado expressed his desire that the new installation have conduit or cable tray raceway from the transducers to the control room devices. The current installation is a mixture or tyraps to piping and tyraps to clips on the wall. There is a section that drops through grating and routes through a trench below floor level. I’m not sure what potential exposure to spilled substances exists for the current or proposed cables, or if there is a potential code violation.
Which method would you prefer us to base our proposal on?
New signal wires from the control room all the way to Penstock and Hollow Jet locations will be using current cable trays and more likely exisiting routes.
12 3/8/2024 7 3.4 A/B This section assigns responsibilities for dealing with discovery of, and providing a finding report that includes a plan for the handling and disposal of lead and/or asbestos containing materials.
Who will be responsible for the actual remediation and how do we quantify it for bid purposes?
