20245201008 Q&A

1. Is it possible to forward electronic copies of the existing crane general arrangement, trolley general arrangement, hook block general arrangement, cab layout and crane runway layout?

We only have PDF drawings for most of the equipment mentioned and they will be available in the announcement.

1. For determining the handling of material in out of the building, do you specific building drawings?

I will provide building drawings (crane Location) and photos for reference.

1. For determining the new electric feed and runway disconnect, can you forward electronic copies of the existing electric feed system in the building?

I will provide PDF drawing of 480 Metal Clad System with Breakers and Photos.

1. For determining deficiencies, can you forward an electronic copy of the inspection report?

Inspection report will be provided upon request.

1. For determining festoon, what is the span of the crane? Approx 260 FT I will provide drawings and pictures in the announcement.

1. For determining runway electrification system, what is the length of the runway? Approx 260 FT I will provide drawings and pictures in the announcement.

250-300 FT Feeder worst scenario. NEC codes standards includes wire size and rigid conduits.

1. Are we to provide new crane bumpers that will mount to the crane’s end trucks or are you looking for us to provide new crane end stops? Or both? Contractor will provide both bumpers and end trucks.

1. Do you have a type of paint that you would like for us to use and a color preference?

Safety Yellow.

1. Do we have to perform lead abatement on the crane?

More likely 70 years old crane include wire asbestos too.

1. What are the crane motion speeds?0-1.5 mph.

1. Do drawings need to be PE Stamped? And if so, Texas PE stamped only?

No required PE stamped.
