About this file

This document is an Addendum to Request for Proposal (RFP) #20242053 for an Office Furniture Price Agreement issued by the City of Eugene, Oregon. The RFP is seeking proposals from vendors to establish multiple price agreements for the City's free-standing office furniture needs. While the City does not guarantee a minimum quantity of orders, the intent is to have each proposer provide their full product line so that City departments can select appropriate items for their respective work groups. The last date to request solicitation clarification or change is June 24, 2024, and proposals are due by July 2, 2024.

The RFP outlines the product categories to be included, and the City is not providing detailed furniture specifications, as the price agreements are intended to give City departments a quick reference of available discounts from awarded vendors. Proposers should provide their base discounts on furniture categories and any additional large volume discounts. The City does not have any set-asides or information on incumbent vendors in the current environment, and the funding source is not specified.

RFP 20242053, Addendum 1 Office Furniture Price Agreement 1

Date: June 18, 2024 To: All Potential Proposers From: Michelle Hahn, Purchasing Analyst Subject: Request for Proposal #20242053 Office Furniture Price Agreement

ADDENDUM #1

The solicitation referenced above is updated & amended as follows:

1. Answer questions from potential bidders.

Question: Are there any standards or more detailed furniture specifications that could be provided? To tailor our response accurately for the City of Eugene with meaningful solutions and pricing, further detail on furniture requirements, anticipated quantities etc., would be necessary.

Answer: Because each City department purchases office furniture for their respective work groups when needed, price agreements are put in place as a tool for those departments to have a quick reference of what is available and what discounts are being applied by vendors who have been awarded contracts. In the past, vendors have provided base discounts on furniture categories and additional large volume discounts. The City’s intent is to have each proposer provide their full product line of free-standing office furniture so that City users may select items appropriate for their needs. Product categories are listed in the RFP under Section V. Requirements/Specifications, General Requirements, 1.0 Product Categories and more specifications can be found under this same section.

While the City intends to establish multiple price agreements as a result of this RFP, the City does not guarantee a minimum quantity of items or amount of orders.

The last date to request solicitation clarification or change is June 24, 2024.

All other terms, conditions and specifications of this solicitation remain unchanged. Questions regarding this Addendum should be emailed to Michelle Hahn, MHahn@eugene-or.gov mailto:MHahn@eugene-or.gov
