About this file

This document is an Excel spreadsheet detailing the database fields for a Collections Management System (CMS) used by the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) for their museum and archives. The CMS will be used to manage approximately 5,000 object records with 25,000 media attachments, as well as approximately 14,000 item-level PDFs and 3,500 collection-level PDFs. The CMS must provide unified management of ABMC's owned, licensed, and stewarded resources, and enable quick and accurate access to electronic, physical, and local collections, bibliographic data, and full-text content. The CMS must be an established enterprise-class software solution that meets IT security and privacy requirements. The Contractor shall implement, configure, maintain, and train users on the new hosted SaaS CMS, and design and develop the CMS to digitally manage the collections per the documented requirements.

The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation for the ABMC Museum and Archives Collections Management System (CMS), seeking software licenses, support, and implementation services. The solution may be a single CMS housing both collections or two separate modules from the same Contractor. The Contractor must provide in-depth system training and user guides, and design the CMS to handle the current and future growth of the database. See the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) and other attachments for further details.
