About this file
This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission (IWCC) for the management and maintenance of the medical fee schedule website pursuant to Section 8.2 of the Illinois Workers' Compensation Act. The IWCC requires a vendor to host and maintain an internet website for the medical fee schedule, update the fee schedule as required by the Act, provide a product license to use the vendor's data, and provide other related services. Vendors must have a minimum of three years of continuous active participation in the applicable industry, providing services comparable in size and complexity. Quotes must be submitted via BidBuy prior to the bid opening date, and prices must remain valid for 90 days. The IWCC reserves the right to reject all offers or individual offers for failure to meet any requirement, and the winning vendor will be chosen based on the lowest quote.
The RFQ does not provide specific pricing terms, set-asides, or incumbent information. The funding for this contract will come from the IWCC, and the duration of the contract is not specified. The IWCC is seeking to comply with the 2005 amendments to the Illinois Workers' Compensation Act, which required the adoption of a medical fee schedule setting forth the maximum allowable payment for procedures, treatments, or services covered under the Act.
