About this file

This is Amendment #2 to a Request for Bid (RFB) issued by the University of Wisconsin-Madison for signage procurement. The amendment addresses questions and answers submitted by bidders regarding the 2023-UWMSN-00108-RFB solicitation. The University is seeking signage on an as-needed basis, with an immediate requirement for one two-sided sign at the Babcock Dairy Store located at 1605 Linden Drive, Madison, Wisconsin 53706. The sign will be installed on the north side of the building in an existing planting bed with steep slope and groundcover vegetation, with exact placement to be staked in the field. Group P1 items have no immediate need and will be purchased on an as-needed basis when signage requires replacement or new buildings are constructed. The University does not guarantee a minimum order quantity or specific dollar amount for purchases under this contract.

Pricing for the contract is anticipated to range between $10,000 and $20,000 annually, though expenditures vary year to year based on actual needs; the University spent approximately $10,000 in the past year. Bidders need not obtain UW License approval prior to bid submission; if awarded, this approval will be handled post-award through the UW-Campus Planning Office (CPLA) in coordination with UW Marketing, as CPLA has authority to use the crest logo for official UW signage. Current contract pricing information and previous bid tabulations are available at the referenced procurement website. Responses must be submitted online through the ShopUW+ platform at https://bids.sciquest.com/apps/Router/PublicEvent?CustomerOrg=UWisconsin, with inquiries directed to Brad Bauman at brad.bauman@wisc.edu.
