About this file
This market research questionnaire seeks input from carriers regarding the Next Generation Delivery Services 2 (NGDS 2) procurement. The NGDS 2 contract supports small package shipping for the federal government domestically up to 150 pounds and internationally up to 300 pounds. Carriers are asked about their ability to accommodate contract requirements such as consolidating federal profiles, extending money-back delivery guarantees, impacts of various delivery policies on rates, and processes for addressing incorrect addresses or delayed invoices. Carriers are also queried about technical capabilities like interfaces with government systems and hardware/software solutions. Finally, the questionnaire solicits general feedback on improving performance, reducing costs, and considerations for contract length, flexibility, and oversight.
