The project involves the replacement of existing light fixtures with new LED (light-emitting diode) fixtures throughout the parking lots and street areas of the park. Work includes installing new concrete poles with foundations, removing and properly disposing of existing metal halide fixtures per EPA requirements, replacing fixtures with LED units in accordance with engineer specifications, and installing occupancy sensors and photocells. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at West Boynton Park's recreation center. Contractors must be pre-qualified under Palm Beach County's Annual Contract - Electrical, with qualification applications due at least 10 days before the bid due date. All bidders must submit completed EBO Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 forms documenting subcontractor participation and S/M/WBE commitments.
