About this file
This document is a Request for Response (RFR) issued by the Operational Services Division/Commonwealth Print Services (CPS) of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. CPS is soliciting qualified vendors for on-site remedial and preventative maintenance services for CPS print shop equipment, as well as supplies for printing, binding, and wide format printing. The RFR provides details on the required qualifications, service response time, preventive maintenance, and pricing for these services and supplies. The contract duration is three years with two optional two-year renewal periods, for a maximum of seven years. Bids are due on June 28, 2018, and the estimated contract start date is August 1, 2018.
The RFR outlines the pricing requirements for the maintenance services and supplies, including the need for discounts through the Commonwealth's Prompt Payment Discount initiative. It also encourages Minority and/or Women Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business Enterprises (SDVOBEs) to submit bids, and requires a completed Supplier Diversity Plan as part of the bid response. The RFR specifies performance measures related to service response time, maintenance coverage, and delivery timelines. It also notes that the procurement is targeted to verified small businesses participating in the Commonwealth's Small Business Purchasing Program.
